On Wednesday, December 3rd, during the Aircraft Cabin Innovation Summit held in Dublin, STELIA Aerospace received recognition at the RedCabin Trinity Awards ceremony.

The jury for the prestigious RedCabin awards announced the winners of this 2025 edition, which spotlights notable innovations in passenger experience and interior concepts, covering key areas from sustainability to in-cabin service.

STELIA Aerospace was awarded the RedCabin Trinity Award in the “Cabin Service Concept” category for its eco-designed Business Class seat: OPERA^® ESSENTIAL.

This premium seat introduces a refined concept of sustainable luxury. Developed using a rigorous eco-design approach, OPERA^® ESSENTIAL achieves a notable 32% reduction in environmental impact while providing a high-quality flight experience for Business Class passengers. The seat is fully autonomous, responding naturally to passenger movements, which eliminates the requirement for traditional electric motors.

This recent award from the Trinity Awards highlights STELIA Aerospace’s focus on innovation within the sector. Earlier this year, OPERA^® ESSENTIAL was also recognized with two other awards:

• The Red Dot Award Product Design: A respected international recognition for exceptional product design.
• The Green Good Sustainability Award (in the “Other green transportation” category): An award acknowledging significant innovations driven by sustainability.
